Leeds prepare for a second season back in the Premier League, and focus shifts to how their squad’s market value compares with next term’s rivals.

According to Transfermarkt, Manchester City lead the valuation table at €1.32bn, ahead of Arsenal on €1.23bn, Chelsea on €1.16bn and Liverpool on €1.02bn.

Tottenham Hotspur are listed at €811m and Manchester United at €747.40m. The rankings cover all 20 clubs.

Newly-promoted Leeds finished 14th, eight points clear of the drop, after losing only five more league games following November’s 3-2 defeat at Manchester City.

They amassed 47 points, two behind Everton and Newcastle United, two ahead of Crystal Palace, three ahead of Nottingham Forest and four clear of Tottenham, who scraped survival on the final day. Third-bottom West Ham ended on 39.

West Ham, Burnley and Wolves were relegated, with champions Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-off winners Hull City promoted to the top flight.
