Leeds United have submitted a bid for Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen, but there is no agreement between the clubs and the fee remains undisclosed.
According to Leeds Live, the approach follows weeks of interest, with Leeds moving first among suitors. Wolves have not indicated they will accept, and senior figures at Elland Road are keeping details under wraps.
There has been contact between the clubs and Leeds have been encouraged to progress their interest, suggesting no initial resistance to the enquiry. It is thought news of the bid originated on the Wolves side.
Wolves are expected to seek around £40m for the Norway international, a figure that would be a major outlay for the Whites. Meeting such a price would likely require significant movement at the end of the season to satisfy Profit and Sustainability rules.
Leeds have maxed out PSR spending limits after a summer outlay north of £100m.
The 25-year-old attracted multiple Newcastle bids last summer, rising to £55m, while Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest remain interested.
The club’s stance remains that any move only proceeds on the right terms, and the search for another attacker is not driven by desperation given their current position and recent form.
