Daniel Farke has confirmed Leeds United's line-up to face Chelsea in today's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, with Anton Stach and Joe Rodon on the bench.
According to Leeds Live, the head coach has kept changes to goalkeeper only, so Lucas Perri starts, while the rest of the outfield remains as before.
Rodon suffered an ankle injury in the last round at West Ham, then made a brief return against Wolves last weekend and played the second half of the midweek 2-2 draw at Bournemouth. He looked rusty, so stays on the bench.
James Justin continues at right centre-back, with Jayden Bogle at right wing-back and Gabriel Gudmundsson on the left. Jaka Bijol and Pascal Struijk, who both missed the 2024 Championship play-off final through injury, join Justin in the back three protecting Perri. The summer signing has made key saves in games and in shoot-outs during the cup run, despite being dropped as first choice in January.
Stach has been out since an ankle issue in the quarter-final at West Ham and was touch and go to make the squad. His inclusion boosts options, and Ao Tanaka partners Ethan Ampadu.
In a three-four-two-one shape, Noah Okafor starts off the left behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who makes his first club appearance at Wembley after playing there with England last month. Brenden Aaronson operates on the right.
Leeds XI: Perri, Justin, Bijol, Struijk, Bogle, Ampadu, Tanaka, Gudmundsson, Okafor, Aaronson, Calvert-Lewin. Subs: Darlow, Bornauw, Buonanotte, Gnonto, Stach, James, Longstaff, Nmecha, Piroe, Rodon.
