RB Leipzig moved up to second in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over 1. FC Köln in Saturday’s late top-flight fixture.

Just before halftime, Romulo struck to regain Leipzig’s lead, and David Raum went on to add another one with a superb curling free-kick, giving the hosts a two-goal cushion at the break.
Köln had a golden chance to reduce the deficit around the hour mark, but Ragnar Ache could only steer his close-range effort wide.
Leipzig ultimately held firm to claim their third consecutive win, moving into second place ahead of Sunday’s matches, while Köln remain fourth.
