Lens midfielder set for Colorado Rapids move

RC Lens midfielder Hamzat Ojediran (22) is set for a move to Colorado Rapids, according to a report from Foot Mercato.

Ojediran joined Lens back in the summer of 2024 for a fee of just over €1m. The Nigerian played a peripheral role last season, playing 17 games in Ligue 1, but this season, under Pierre Sage, he has yet to play a single minute of professional football.

A €3m fee touted

As a result, Les Sang et Or, top of Ligue 1 heading into the New Year, are looking to offload him this January. Despite Ojediran featuring sparingly, they are set to make a profit on the player. Foot Mercato understands that he is set to join MLS side Colorado Rapids.

An agreement between the clubs has almost been concluded. The fee is just below €3m. The move is subject to Ojediran passing his medical and obtaining his visa.
