According to Meu Timao, acting Deliberative Council president Leonardo Pantaleão has set 29 April for the vote on Corinthians’ proposed statute reform at the Teatro do Parque São Jorge.

The extraordinary session is based on article 82 of the current statute. The first call is at 18:00 with a quorum of half plus one, then at 19:00 it proceeds regardless of attendance.

Councillors will vote on the entire draft of the new club constitution. Points with multiple alternatives, such as Fiel Torcedor voting rights, will also be decided, and ballots will be open.

A final vote had been slated for the General Assembly on Saturday, but it was suspended by an injunction requested by councillor Felipe Ezabella. The halt prompted Romeu Tuma Júnior to request leave from the council presidency.

On 9 March a previous meeting ended amid disorder, after which Tuma sent the matter to the General Assembly. At that session, club president Osmar Stabile said he felt threatened and coerced by Tuma and alleged interference in the administration.

Days later Stabile asked the Ethics and Discipline Commission to remove Tuma, then convened an extraordinary meeting that approved Tuma’s provisional suspension. The decision was not recognised by Tuma or Leonardo Pantaleão.

Tuma reported Stabile and deputy legal director William Tapara to the São Paulo Public Prosecutor’s Office for alleged perjury and coercion. A notarial record of the suspension meeting reached prosecutor Cassio Roberto Conserino, who sought a civil inquiry to consider a possible judicial intervention. With Tuma sidelined, Pantaleão formally assumed the acting role on Tuesday.

The draft seeks alignment with the Lei Geral do Esporte, potential Fiel Torcedor voting, regulation for a possible SAF, changes to the council and its commissions, and wider governance and financial responsibility provisions.
