Levante v Villarreal to be played on 18 February after rain postponement | OneFootball

LaLiga confirmed on Monday that the postponed Levante UD v Villarreal CF fixture from LaLiga EA Sports matchday 16 will be played on Wednesday 18 February at 20:00 at the Ciutat de València.

The match was called off on 14 December 2025 after a red alert was issued in the province of Valencia due to forecast heavy rain.

The clubs had jointly proposed 18 February so their African players could be involved, and the league has now set the date.

Villarreal now enter a crowded spell. On Tuesday 20 January, Marcelino García Toral’s side host Ajax at the Estadio de la Cerámica at 21:00.

Also at the same venue and time, they will welcome Real Madrid in matchday 21 of LaLiga.

On Wednesday 28 January they conclude the Champions League League Phase at Bayer Leverkusen’s BayArena, matchday eight, at 21:00.

Back in LaLiga, they visit Atlético Osasuna at El Sadar on Saturday 31 January at 16:15 for matchday 22.
