Strasbourg head coach Liam Rosenior is increasingly likely to leave his post with the Alsatians in order to fill in Chelsea’s managerial vacancy in the wake of Enzo Maresca’s exit on New Year’s Day, according to L’EquipeThe 41-year-old head coach is the leading contender to replace the Italian manager. Now, the outlet reports that talks have picked up pace between the two BlueCo-owned clubs regarding Rosenior’s switch to Stamford Bridge.

Rosenior’s Strasbourg exit is said to be imminent, although the English manager is expected to lead the Alsatians on Saturday at Nice’s Allianz Riviera for what is surely going to be his final game as Strasbourg head coach. L’Equipe understands that BlueCo are expected to pay Strasbourg a transfer fee to relieve Rosenior of his duties before making him join the Premier League side.
