Liga Mar y Valle champions celebrate in Trelew | OneFootball

Tiro Federal and Mercado La Normita visited Diario EL CHUBUT to mark their Liga Independiente Mar y Valle triumphs. According to SuperDepor.com, the clubs brought their silverware, won on Sunday, to the newsroom.

The league finals were played at the Nacional 72 stadium of Club Atlético Independiente in Trelew.

First to arrive were Tiro Federal, crowned Fourth Division champions after beating Deportivo Los Pensamientos 3-2. Players and supporters unfurled flags, sang throughout and lifted the cup.

Later came Mercado La Normita, coached by José and Oscar Martínez, carrying two trophies after winning Primera B and Fourth Division. Their success also secured promotion to the top tier of the neighbourhood competition.

The squads posed for the traditional champions’ photograph with family and friends, closing another chapter of Trelew’s community football festivities at the newspaper.
