Liga Portugal ‘to schedule’ FC Porto v Santa Clara at 15:30 on Saturday, title celebrations planned | OneFootball

FC Porto have set out plans for their title party at Estádio do Dragão, even though Liga Portugal has yet to confirm kick-off times for the 34th and final round, with a decision due in the coming days.

TSF reports that Liga Portugal is expected to set the FC Porto v Santa Clara game for 15:30 on Saturday, 16 May, with the champions' trophy to be presented on the pitch after full time.

The club's strategy is to hold the handover immediately after the final whistle at Estádio do Dragão, starting the celebrations straight away.

The programme will include a reception at Porto City Hall, where mayor Pedro Duarte will pay tribute to the team, then the customary party on Avenida dos Aliados, where thousands of supporters are expected.

Security services, the city council and the club are finalising operational details to manage the anticipated turnout across the city.
