GFFN editor-in-chief  Luke Entwistle, and sub-editors Raphaël Jucobin and Bastien Cheval face off in our Ligue 1 predictions competition. This season, GFFN will also be hosting guests. Earlier this season, The Athletic’s Alex Barker participated and became the first name on our guest leaderboard, and he has since been joined by Julien Laurens. It’s three points for a correct score, two points for a correct score difference, and one point for a correct result. Who will come out on top at the end of the season?

Game of the week: Olympique de Marseille v AS Monaco, Sunday 19:45 (UK)

Both Marseille and Monaco come into this game off the back of confidence-boosting Champions League wins. Both needed confidence after some middling form in the league, particularly Monaco, who have lost four of their last five games in Ligue 1. Their only win in that time came against PSG. It is quite befitting of a side that almost always turns up for the big occasion, and so, despite OM’s standing in the league (third) and their home advantage, the Principality club shouldn’t – and won’t be taken lightly.
