Lille’s Nabil Bentaleb subject of Premier League interest | OneFootball

Nabil Bentaleb (31) could leave Lille OSC at the end of the season, and there is plenty of interest in the Algeria international, as per a report from Foot Mercato.

It was only last season that Bentaleb recovered from a heart attack to make a spectacular return to football. This season, he has been a key part of a LOSC side that, with one game remaining, is primed to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League. He has played 36 times in all competitions this season, scoring twice and registering two assists. 

However, a departure this summer is on the cards. Bentaleb’s contract with Lille is up, and whilst the option of extending remains open, there is also plenty of interest from abroad.

Besiktas have already approached the midfielder’s entourage, Foot Mercato understands. There is another Turkish club in the race, as well as interest from Saudi Arabia. Closer to home, there is interest from top-six clubs in Ligue 1 and also from clubs in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
