MLS outfit Inter Miami are ready to challenge La Liga champions Barcelona for a leading transfer target.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who highlight Rodrigo Mora as the player in question.

The name of youngster Mora has of course emerged as a prominent one in the media headlines across Spain over recent weeks.

This comes, first, after it was revealed that Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on the 16-year-old’s development.

Recent days, meanwhile, have seen Barcelona credited with a serious interest in Mora, with Deco and co. having gone as far as to make contact with the Mexican’s entourage.

The versatile attacker is for his part currently lighting up the U20 World Cup with Mexico.

As alluded to above, though, interest in Mora’s signature spans beyond the confines of Europe.

As per a report from Sport:

‘Inter Miami are positioning themselves to be able to sign him. Leo Messi’s claim can become a determining element.’
