Bayern have seized control in Bergamo, leading Atalanta 3-0 inside 25 minutes of their Champions League last 16 first leg. Josip Stanisic tapped in on 12 minutes, Michael Olise curled home on 22, then Serge Gnabry finished on 25.

According to Football Italia, this is the sides’ first ever meeting, with Atalanta here after knocking out Borussia Dortmund in the play-off round. Kick-off was at 20.00 GMT.

Carnesecchi denied Jackson for a near-certain fourth on 30 minutes, Zappacosta headed behind on 33, Hien cleared on 34, and Jackson’s half volley flashed across goal on 37.
