Vídeos OneFootball

Freddie Woodman – 3.0

The summer signing was horribly exposed for the first goal and failed to show the imposing nature of those above him in the goalkeeping pecking order.

After the restart, the Reds’ third-choice keeper was less exposed as the away side probed. Again the stand-in keeper was exposed for the second-half goal conceded.

Calvin Ramsay – 4.0

The young fullback was able and committed to the ball, yet the disjointed nature of the entire backline left him struggling to excel.

After the break, the emerging defender was again lacking as the team continued to look disjointed.

Milos Kerkez – 4.0

The Hungarian international was a wide receiver at times and delivered a few good balls into the box, however, in transition the inexperienced nature showed.

After the intermission, the youthful full-back was unable to make a strong impression, as he lacked the level of decision-making required.

Andy Robertson – 4.0

The Scottish international defender was never short of willing, though positionally he couldn’t adapt to the central role and was exposed by fluid movements around him.

In the second period, the former Hull City man was more composed and will probably start the weekend’s game against visiting Aston Villa.

Subbed – 67 mins

Joe Gomez – 3.0

The most experienced of the backline was all over the place in the first half and could not cope with the rampaging pace that came at him.

After the intermission, the former Charlton man was slightly more composed and positioned himself more intelligently.

Wataru Endō – 4.0

The Japanese skipper was unable to pick up runners and stop counterattacks through central areas.

When the match resumed, the former Bundesliga man was eager to stay calm and diligent in cutting out the passing lanes which had exposed his team in the first half.

Alexis Mac Allister – 4.0

The Argentine midfielder was considered though inefficient in his play, as he failed to take control of the park.

After the half-time break, the former Brighton man departed the field with some more vital minutes absorbed.

Subbed – 67 mins

Trey Nyoni – 4.0

The underage international was out of his depth against more robust opponents as he failed to make the required impact.

After the break, the academy player was largely underused as patterns of play eluded the hosts.

Kieron Morrison – 4.0

The Dutch attacker was sporadic and ineffective in the first half lacking real incision.

In the second half, the wide man was again unable to make a real impression before departing the field.

Subbed – 67 mins

Federico Chiesa – 5.0

The Italy attacker was lively and never hid, yet his hunger was not matched by those around him.

After the break, the former Juve striker failed to lead a comeback as attacks broke down before they began.

Rio Ngumoha – 5.0

The teenage prodigy was too predictable in his dribbling and shut down easily as he continually attempted to drive inside.

In the second 45 minutes, the record-breaking attacker was again unable to create anything noteworthy.

Subbed – 87 mins

The substitutions were designed to show that the game did not matter, as the head coach was only interested in the game ending.

Steven Smith’s Pre-match Prediction;

Liverpool 2 – 1 Crystal Palace
