Liverpool have emerged as ‘serious’ contenders to sign Omar Marmoush in the transfer window, but the in-form forward won’t come cheap.
The Eintracht Frankfurt star has been in scintillating form this season, averaging a goal every 66 minutes in the Bundesliga.
The 25-year-old, who tops the scoring charts ahead of Harry Kane, has found the net nine times and provided four assists in seven league games.
That has put Marmoush on the radar of some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Arsenal and Liverpool, while he was also linked with Crystal Palace and West Ham United in September.
The striker won’t come cheap, though, as Eintracht Frankfurt are ‘demanding’ a transfer fee between €50-60 million, according to Sky Germany.
The Merseyside outfit’s interest in the striker is ‘real’ and they have already had ‘contact’ with the player’s representatives.
Marmoush, who is teammates with Mo Salah in the Egypt national team, ‘dreams’ of moving to the Premier League and would ‘immediately join’ Liverpool.
The former St Pauli loanee moved to Frankfurt on a free transfer from Wolfsburg in 2023 after failing to make an impact at the Lower Saxony club.
He scored 17 goals in his debut season with the Eagles and has two years remaining on his current contract.
