Bradley Barcola (23), a reported target for Liverpool and Arsenal, will be allowed to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, as per a report from L’Équipe.

Barcola has become more of a backup option for PSG in recent months. The France international is best off the left, where Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has become undroppable for the big games. His current contract runs until 2028.

However, talks over a contract extension had been put on hold towards the end of the campaign, as the club focused all of its energy on the UEFA Champions League. Prior to that, there had been no progress in talks between the France international and the European champions.

And there is still no progress, L’Équipe understands. Whilst Luis Enrique is keen to retain the forward, PSG are no longer closed to the idea of selling Barcola, who could leave the club over the summer. The Ligue 1 side only want to keep players that are fully committed to the project.

L’Équipe reported that, as well as Liverpool’s long-term interest in the player, Premier League champions Arsenal are also in the race.
