In a recent report, Tuttosport mentioned that Liverpool are in the running to land Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram. It has been revealed that the Reds would have to compete with Aston Villa and Manchester United in the race to sign the France international next summer.
Thuram is having a decent campaign at the Turin club as he has put in a series of impressive displays for them at the centre of the park. The 24-year-old has scored three goals and earned four assists in 36 matches for Juventus this season across all competitions.
The French talent is currently among the most promising midfielders in Serie A. Therefore, it is no surprise that Liverpool are in the running to sign Thuram this off-season.
His current contract at the Turin club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for the Reds to land Thuram later this year.

Thuram is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates to find the back of the net.
The French sensation can shoot the ball with power from long range and can chip in by scoring and creating a few goals for his team from the wide areas. He is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also fill in as a holding midfielder if told to do so by his manager. However, it remains to be seen whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League.
We can expect Thuram to add more firepower to Liverpool head coach Arne Slot’s midfield department. He has what it takes to fight for a regular starting spot at Anfield in the coming seasons.
At 24, Thuram has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the Reds to consider in this summer transfer window. However, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if the Reds manage to get a deal over the line for him at the end of this campaign.
