In a recent report, Turkish-Football stated that Liverpool are in the running to recruit Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz. It has been mentioned that the Reds are eager to acquire the services of the Turkish wide player next year.
Yildiz has made a great start to this Serie A campaign as he has been responsible for producing a run of eye-catching performances for Juventus on the left wing. The Turkish wing wizard has registered two goals and secured four assists in eight matches for the Turin outfit this season across all competitions.
The 20-year-old has given a good account of himself in the final third based on his average of 2.10 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A. He has kept 41.7% of his attempts on target. Yildiz has also been tidy when distributing possession in the opponent’s half, as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 79.4% in the Italian first division (stats via fbref.com).
Yildiz is under contract at the Turin club until the summer of 2029, which could make it difficult for the Reds to get a deal done for him on the cheap this January or next summer.

Yildiz excels at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third and is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The Turkish winger has done well to add some goals and assists to his game this season. Yildiz mainly functions as a left-winger but can also operate as a right-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if needed. However, it remains to be seen whether he can adapt to the physicality and high intensity of the Premier League if the Reds manage to land him next year.
Yildiz would no doubt improve the quality of Liverpool head coach Arne Slot’s attack in the long run. He is good enough to fight for a regular starting spot at Anfield.
At 20, Yildiz has the potential to be a world-class winger someday. Thus, it makes sense for the Reds to step up their efforts to sign him in 2026.
