In a recent interview, journalist Graeme Bailey stated that Liverpool are keeping tabs on Boca Juniors II full-back Dylan Gorosito. Bailey said,

“He’s (Gorosito) a player who is standing out massively, he’s had a brilliant tournament.

“There’s a whole host of teams looking at him, Liverpool being one of them.

“He’s one who wasn’t especially on a lot of teams’ radars pre-tournament because he hadn’t played a lot of football for Boca Juniors, but he’s really stood out.

“A lot of teams are curious about him because they haven’t seen a lot of him, unlike an Ian Subiabre or Neiser Villarreal who we know teams like but they’ve seen him before.

“Liverpool are one of the teams who quite like what they’ve seen, but we’re talking more of a future project. Teams watching being impressed by someone doesn’t mean they’re going to sign him. It’s one to put on the system and keep tracking.”

Gorosito’s Impressive Rise In Argentine Football

The 19-year-old has caught the eye for Boca Juniors II as he has put in a series of impressive displays on the right side of their defence. Gorosito has made 31 appearances for them, securing a couple of assists across all competitions.

His current contract at the Argentine club will run out at the end of 2028. Hence, Liverpool would have to make a good offer if they want to lure Gorosito to Anfield next year.

Liverpool Are Keeping Tabs On Gorosito: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Gorosito works hard for his team defensively and can make some good runs with the ball on the right flank. He can create the odd chance for others around him to find the back of the net.

The Argentine talent is still quite raw and would need time to cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if the Reds manage to bring him on board next year.

We can expect Gorosito to add more quality to Liverpool head coach Arne Slot’s defence in the long run. He has the potential to be a world-class player in his position someday.

At 19, Gorosito is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future. Therefore, the Reds should consider trying everything they can to snap him up next year.
