New deal for Al-Hilal from the English Premier League

Press reports indicate that the Uruguayan international has ended his career in the English Premier League for £53 million, after spending several years with the English Premier League champions, having joined from Portuguese giants Benfica.

The Uruguayan international had told Liverpool officials that he saw himself completely out of the Premier League next season because he wanted a new experience, fueling speculation that he might have a longer spell at Liverpool.

The British newspaper, The Mirror, reported that the player had wanted to leave since last January, but Liverpool decided to keep him in order to strengthen the team, which was competing for the English Premier League. Ultimately, the team won the title, and the player had a good presence in it.

Many offers for the services of the former Benfica player

Liverpool received several offers for the Uruguayan, the last of which, before Al Hilal, came from Napoli, but the Italian champions' offer didn't suit the English club. Napoli's offer to Liverpool was €45 million to be paid in installments, but this is what halted the negotiations.

However, it seems that Al Hilal's offer is much better than any other club's financial offer for the Uruguayan, so it seems that the striker's future will be in Saudi Arabia with the blue giant.
