Liverpool are interested in signing France international Randal Kolo Muani.
The 27-year-old is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, where he has shown flashes of quality but has largely struggled.
Kolo Muani has made just two goal contributions in 25 Premier League appearances. He has fared better in the Champions League, scoring four times in nine games.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool have identified the Frenchman as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.
Salah has already announced he will leave the club at the end of the season.
The Reds face strong competition from Juventus, who have reportedly made contact with the player’s agent.
Kolo Muani spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Juventus, bagging 10 goals in 22 appearances.
They tried to re-sign him in the winter transfer window, but Spurs refused to cut short his loan spell.
Kolo Muani mainly operates as a striker, but can also play on the wings. He is highly rated for his exceptional pace, intelligent movement and finishing ability.
However, given his struggles in the Premier League, Liverpool may be wary of pursuing a move.
The Merseyside titans also have Yan Diomande on their shortlist.
Diomande has emerged as one of Europe’s finest wingers. He has bagged 12 goals and nine assists in 29 Bundesliga appearances this season.
