It’s been another frustrating season for Federico Chiesa.
Although the Italian winger has made himself a crowd favourite throughout his short time at Anfield he has been unable to win over Arne Slot decisively.
Used sparingly during the 2024/25 Premier League title-winning campaign, Chiesa has admittedly played more this term.
He fought back during the summer to become a first-team option for Slot - but he has only managed one Premier League start in the season to this point.
As a result of his lack of game time, it’s been suggested that the 28-year-old could be moving back to Serie A.
Roma have been mentioned as possible suitors but now it seems that Liverpool could be willing to do business with Juventus over a potential deal.

Sporting director Richard Hughes signed Chiesa from Juventus for £12m back in September 2024 with the Italy international inking a deal until 2028.
And according to a report on Sky Sports the Anfield club would be willing to offload Chiesa this January - but there is one condition attached.
The English side will NOT entertain a loan move for Chiesa but would like to sell him on a permanent basis instead.
“Juventus has inquired with the player's representatives to see if there are any opportunities to bring him back to Italy on loan. Liverpool has been open to the move, but only on a permanent basis,” the report reads.
The source also mentions that Napoli have been in touch about a loan move.
And according to Gazzetta dello Sport Chiesa has now responded to Juventus’ transfer interest - and WOULD be willing to move back to Turin this winter.
“After hearing the Italian winger's openness to a possible return to the Bianconeri, Juventus officials have expressed their interest in welcoming the player back to Continassa, exploring whether the Reds would be willing to open negotiations in the second half of January,” the report reads.
A deal could be concluded in the second half of the month owing to Liverpool’s shortage up top right now.
Hugo Ekitike has been carrying an injury, Alexander Isak is out following a broken leg and Mohamed Salah is away at AFCON. But once those issues begin to resolve we could see an exit for Chiesa materialise very rapidly.
