In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Liverpool have identified Red Bull Leipzig winger Yan Diomande as their top target for this summer transfer window. It is believed that the Reds would have to compete with Paris Saint-Germain in the race to land the Ivory Coast wide player this off-season.
Diomande had a terrific campaign in the Bundesliga last season when he put in a string of impressive performances for them in the final third. The 19-year-old participated in 36 matches for the German club in the previous campaign, scoring 13 times and earning ten assists in the process on all fronts.
The talented teenager is currently one of the most promising wide players in European football. Thus, Liverpool would do well to lure him to Anfield this summer.
His current contract at the Red Bull Arena will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for the Reds to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Diomande is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third and can shoot the ball with power from long range.
The Ivory Coast talent can even contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals on the offensive end of the field. Diomande is primarily a left-sided wide player but can also function as a right-winger if required. However, it remains to be seen whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League if the Reds manage to snap him up this off-season.
We can expect Diomande to add more pace and firepower to Liverpool’s frontline. He is good enough to compete for a regular starting role at Anfield next season.
At 19, the future looks quite bright for Diomande as long as he continues to improve with each season. Hence, he would be an excellent choice for the Merseyside club to consider in this summer transfer window. Diomande will also serve as an ideal long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, who parted ways with Liverpool recently.
