Liverpool make the challenging trip to north London on Sunday afternoon, visiting Tottenham Hotspur as they aim to extend their Premier League lead.

The Reds have still lost just once in all competitions this season but draws with Newcastle United and Fulham in their most recent Premier League matches has seen their advantage at the summit slashed by Chelsea.

Victory on Sunday is of paramount importance and would be a much-welcomed festive gift for the club's supporters. Fortunately for the Arne Slot, his injury list has cleared up over the past month, even if he remains without several key players.

Here are the Liverpool players missing for Sunday's big game.

Ibrahima Konate

Liverpool have been without Ibrahima Konate for their last five matches after the centre-back injured his knee against Real Madrid in the Champions League. The French defender's absence has proved costly in recent weeks, with the Reds struggling a tad defensively since he's been in the treatment room.

Slot has confirmed that he will be missing for Sunday's battle with Spurs, claiming it's "quite difficult" to put an exact timeline on his return. It's expected that he may make his comeback at the beginning of the new year, with Liverpool keen not to rush him back.

Konate was not the only defender injured in Liverpool's victory over Real Madrid. Conor Bradley enjoyed a memorable evening against Kylian Mbappe and co. but sustained a hamstring injury that has seen him miss the subsequent five games.

Like Konate, the right-back has also been ruled out of the weekend fixture with Spurs by his manager, with Slot again hesitant to pencil in a return date. The Northern Irishman wouldn't have started in north London but he would have been a handy deputy for Trent Alexander-Arnold from the bench.
