Paris Saint-Germain have had their eyes on Victor Osimhen for a while, and with the summer transfer window drawing closer, speculation around his next move is ramping up.
Now playing for Galatasaray, the Nigerian striker is back to the kind of form that made him one of the standout performers of the 2022-23 season. With 28 goals and five assists in 32 appearances across all competitions this season, he’s once again attracting attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
According to GIVE ME SPORT, Manchester United are growing increasingly concerned about PSG’s pursuit, with the French giants reportedly leading the race.
They’re in a strong position financially, capable of meeting both Osimhen’s wage expectations and the £63 million asking price. The report also mentions that Chelsea and United both see PSG as their main competition in the chase for the striker.

According to Sky Sports (h/t ESPN), Liverpool are exploring attacking options beyond Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez. They are also monitoring Napoli’s Osimhen and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.
Each would cost around £70 million—significantly less than the estimated £130 million it might take to land Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.
That said, Liverpool aren’t alone in the race. Arsenal, Juventus, PSG and Manchester United are all reportedly tracking Osimhen and Sesko as well, which could make for a busy summer transfer window.
Still, despite the concerns that the GIVE ME SPORT can generate, Italian outlet Il Mattino claims the Premier League may be Osimhen’s most likely destination. Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, is reportedly in London to discuss potential deals with Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Serie A side are said to be open to negotiating with the English sides in hopes of securing a favorable deal — and to fend off interest from Serie A rivals Juventus.
