Liverpool have reportedly set their sights on Alessandro Bastoni and are prepared to offer €100 million to tempt Inter into selling one of their star players.

The rumour, picked up by Il Giorno, suggests the Premier League club are very keen on the Inter star.

The Premier League champions view the player as the ideal replacement for Ibrahima Konate.

With a potential €100m offer on the table, the Reds are ready to flex their financial muscle.

However, sources close to Inter insist Bastoni is untouchable.

The Italian international is tied to the club until June 2028 on a salary of €5.5 million per season.

However, the Nerazzurri have no intention of opening talks for a player seen as central to their long-term project.
