Paris Saint-Germain are looking to boost their left-back depth behind Nuno Mendes, with sporting advisor Luís Campos eyeing a potential solution from Belgium. According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, PSG are targeting Maxim De Cuyper from Club Brugge.
The 24-year-old, whose contract runs through 2028, is seen as a strong match for Campos’ recruitment strategy. While AC Milan have also expressed interest, PSG are reportedly preparing an appealing offer to bring De Cuyper to Paris.
Last December, CaughtOffside reported that the Belgium international’s impressive performances have attracted interest from London rivals Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea, with scouts from all three clubs watching him this season.
Manchester City and Nottingham Forest are also keeping an eye on him, though CaughtOffside notes that their interest is still in the early stages.

On Friday, Anfield Watch reported that De Cuyper is one of the potential candidates Liverpool is considering to bolster its backline. Liverpool have reportedly been scouting De Cuyper extensively for over a year and consider him an ideal fit.
The Club Brugge standout has particularly impressed in the Champions League, where he covered the second-most distance for the Belgian side—132 kilometers—a stat that has stood out to the club’s scouts.
According to the report, Arne Slot values off-the-ball work in his system, and scouts believe De Cuyper can meet those demands and become a player the Dutchman truly relies on.
