Eduardo Camavinga has come under fire of late for his inconsistent performances for Real Madrid. The French international was poor against Mallorca over the weekend and was at fault for the opposition’s first goal as the Merengues fell to a 2-1 defeat.
Following the result, speculations over the 23-year-old midfielder’s future at the club started doing the rounds, suggesting that Real Madrid would be open to parting ways with him if good offers arrive.
PSG in France and clubs from the Premier League were said to be interested, but the player, for now, does not intend to leave.
Now, according to L’Equipe (h/t AS), Premier League champions Liverpool have also set their sights on Camavinga heading into the summer window.
The Reds are long-term admirers of the midfielder, having had their eyes on him even before his move to Real Madrid back in 2021.

Now, with his future at the Santiago Bernabeu uncertain, Liverpool are once again showing an interest in signing Camavinga.
Real Madrid, for their part, are not actively looking to offload the 23-year-old star. However, if Liverpool or other interested parties come forward with significant offers, they are likely to be studied.
But, as mentioned earlier, Camavinga himself is not too keen on leaving Real Madrid and wishes to stay put at the club beyond this season.
The midfielder has seemingly fallen behind breakout teenager Thiago Pitarch in recent weeks. And should he struggle to get enough minutes between now and the end of the season, his stance could change.
It remains to be seen how things evolve with Camavinga, who has a contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2029.
