Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique ruled out Randal Kolo Muani as a suitable fit for his plans. Instead, he is said to be eyeing another forward who better aligns with his vision, though competition from other clubs could complicate the pursuit.
According to Fichajes, Enrique has identified Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak as a key target for PSG. The Swedish striker’s pace, technical skills, and clinical finishing have impressed Enrique, making him a strong candidate for the attacking system the coach wants to establish in Paris.
However, PSG are not alone in their interest. Barcelona are also monitoring Isak, with TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, reporting that the Catalan club sent scouts to watch the forward, including during Newcastle’s Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Arsenal.

FootballTransfers reports that Newcastle United have reopened discussions about a potential move for Viktor Gyökeres. While the Swedish forward has a €100 million release clause, Sporting CP are reportedly willing to lower the asking price in the summer.
Newcastle’s interest in the 26-year-old stems from uncertainty surrounding Alexander Isak’s future. Despite Isak’s public commitment to staying at St. James’ Park, he is aware of interest from high-profile clubs.
Arsenal are admirers of the Swedish striker, but Liverpool are believed to be the most persistent suitors and in the strongest position to secure a future deal.
Former Newcastle star Alan Shearer believes Isak’s value could surpass £150 million due to his impressive form. Shearer suggests Chelsea might have the upper hand over Arsenal in the race to sign him but cautions the Blues to proceed carefully, as the price could continue to rise.
