Liverpool could look like a changed side next season with a number of their players facing an uncertain future.

The likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold are all in the final few months of their contract at Anfield.

There is nothing agreed with any of them over a new deal at the club and they all face an uncertain future.

Arne Slot is reportedly ready to let Diogo Jota leave the club at the end of the season and Arsenal are keen on signing him.

Another player has now decided to move away from Anfield in the summer.

According to Football Insider, goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is refusing to sign a new deal at the club and he is looking for a move away from the Premier League leaders in order to get more playing time.

As per the report, Newcastle United, Chelsea and clubs outside of Premier League are interested in signing the talented goalkeeper.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper will just have 12 months left on his contract at Liverpool in the summer and he has decided to call time on his career for the Merseyside club.

Caoimhin Kelleher should leave Liverpool for better opportunities

Kelleher has played back up to Alisson for a number of years but the Irish goalkeeper has impressed whenever he has been given the opportunity to prove himself.

With the Reds waiting for the impending arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili, who was signed by the club last summer, a place in the starting line up would become even more difficult for Kelleher.

Newcastle United and Chelsea have faced issues with the goalkeeping position at their respective clubs this season.

Chelsea’ Robert Sanchez has been heavily criticised for his poor performances and it would be a huge surprise to see him start for the Blues next season.

Meanwhile, at Newcastle, Martin Dubravka is set to become a free agent at the end of the season while Nick Pope has struggled to regain his form following his return from an injury.

A move away from Liverpool would make sense not only for Kelleher but also for the club. By keeping him at Anfield, they would be stopping his progress as a player which would be highly unfair on the 26-year-old.
