PSG winger Bradley Barcola (23) feels no longer in line with the club’s policy of considering him as the fourth man in a three-player attack, according to L’EquipeBarcola has informed the back-to-back UEFA Champions League winners that he would not extend his contract, which is set to expire in 2028. The France international winger has agreed to join Liverpool on principle, although an agreement on personal terms is yet to be reached.

Barcola has reportedly been convinced to join Andoni Iraola’s Reds after a round of talks with the Spaniard and several Liverpool executives. L’Equipe is adamant that the former Lyon Academy graduate is adamant the next step of his career lies on Merseyside. Club-to-club talks are still at an early stage with a significant gap in player valuation between PSG and Liverpool.

The outlet understands that PSG are unwilling to part ways with Barcola as of now. Although Barcola currently is PSG’s fourth-choice striker, he has played more minutes than Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia, Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé last season. But Barcola’s frustration stems from his absence from Luis Enrique’s starting line-up for PSG’s key games – such as the past two UEFA Champions League finals.
