Head coach Keith Andrews has provided a squad update ahead of Brentford’s final Premier League game of the season against Liverpool on Sunday (4pm kick-off BST, live on Sky Sports).

Depending on results elsewhere, the Bees could secure European football with a draw or victory at Anfield.

“The players are in a good place,” Andrews began.

“We’ve had a good couple of weeks. The season is coming to a close.

“Injury-wise it’s the same as last week, in terms of availability.”

Full-back Rico Henry will not feature on Merseyside, while Fábio Carvalho and Antoni Milambo remain sidelined due to ACL injuries.

Asked how he is likely to set up his side on Sunday, Andrews responded: “It’s a little bit about our players and where they’re at: physically, form, opposition.

“We’re willing to be a little bit unpredictable with how we attack at times.

“On Sunday [against Crystal Palace] we played Dango [Ouattara] a little bit more narrow, closer to [Igor] Thiago.

“We didn’t start Kevin [Schade] last weekend, so we wanted those two to come closer as a pair.

“We wanted to get Dams [Mikkel Damsgaard] and Mathi [Jensen] a little bit closer on occasions.

"There’s always a little bit of method in the madness, I suppose.”
