Liverpool will have to overcome an uphill battle if they are to progress to the semi-finals of the Champions League after losing 2-0 to PSG.
Goals from Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia gave PSG the advantage in the quarter-final tie tie ahead of the second leg at Anfield next week.

Liverpool managed just three shots and none on target throughout the 90 minutes.
Doue’s opener came as a result of a big slice of fortune, though, with his strike taking a big deflection to loop over Giorgi Mamardashvili.
But there was nothing lucky about Kvaratskhelia’s second, who cut in from the left, drove into the box and then calmly slotted into the net to leave Liverpool with a big task ahead.
