His journey from a young midfielder into one of the best all-around midfielders in England in his prime was truly an inspiring ride.

During a lot of his early years, Henderson was written off at Anfield. It felt like he had no future for a long time. But then very gradually he established himself as a key player for Liverpool and then under Jurgen Klopp he became an indispensable player.

His subsequent years in Saudi Arabia and Ajax Amsterdam have been a little bit more frustrating.

It seems like this summer he's going to be on the move again, just two years after leaving the club and set to join his third team.

The Daily Mail has reported that he could leave Ajax with Nottingham Forest and Sunderland interested in his services.

Those will be interesting moves, and it's going to be fascinating to see Henderson back in the Premier League potentially even facing the Reds at Anfield.

Another even more interesting aspect of Henderson's move could be the domino effect that might impact Liverpool as well.

According to The Times a number of clubs are monitoring Tyler Morton's future at Anfield. The England U21 European Championship winner is reportedly on the radar of Braga, who are set to accelerate their efforts to bring him to Portugal.

But they are not alone, according to the report Ajax are also keen on the midfielder, with their interest cited as 'significant.'

Ajax's new head-coach is Johnny Heitinga, who will know Morton well having worked at the club as an assistant manager last season.

Heitinga has already brought in Vitezslav Jaros on loan from Liverpool and it seems like he is now looking to use his connections to sign an absolute gem in Morton.

It would be a cool Liverpool reunion to witness, especially at such a historic club. For Morton, it would be an excellent platform to establish his career.

Coming in to replace Henderson will provide him with regular minutes and also the distinction of filling the void left behind by a player who has done everything he can at Liverpool.

Morton will have looked up to Henderson for many years at the club so he would undoubtedly be relishing that opportunity.

But Braga are clearly keen on his services as well, so it will be interesting to see what decision Morton and Liverpool make.

It's a situation worth keeping a close eye on.
