Liverpool's own Lamine Yamal is now getting so close to announcing himself.
On a sunny day in Budapest, Barcelona's young winger announced himself with what has become a very archetypal goal.
Lamina Yamal, then only 15-years-old playing for Spain at the U17 Euros produced a moment of brilliance against France in the semi-final of the competition, cutting in from the right onto his left foot to nestle the ball into the back of the net.
A year later, Yamal would do the same at the senior European Championships and after that a star had been born.
But back then, when he was just 15-years-old, it was very obvious that this was not an ordinary but an extraordinary talent. Someone who had the potential to be a generational player for many years to come.
These type of players don't come around often, and Yamal is definitely one of a kind. But Liverpool have a special talent of their own. Someone who has the potential to be on par with Yamal.
When Rio Ngumoha became the youngest player to score for Liverpool in the Premier League we all saw what he was capable of.
But it was not a watershed moment for the youngster. He's been resigned to very limited minutes. Arne Slot doesn't seem to trust him.
It has been a frustrating period for Ngumoha. We've seen him do well when he's been given the platform to showcase his ability but that has been in very rare moments.
Without Xavi being Yamal's manager and giving him a chance. Without Hansi Flick then continuing to trust Yamal, he would not be where he is now.
Young players need to be nurtured. Of course, they also need to step-up and take their moments as they come.
Against Leeds United, Ngumoha did this again.
Slot gave him just six minutes of normal time which turned into 12 total minutes on the pitch with added time.
That's not a lot of time to make an impact but Ngumoha made the most of it. He completed 100% of his dribbles, created two chances and completed 11 out of 13 passes, while taking 15 touches, which highlights just how active he was.
It's the two chances created that's the most important statistic here. Jeremie Frimpong managed just one, Cody Gakpo managed zero, Florian Wirtz managed two as well but he played three times as many minutes as Ngumoha.
Right now Liverpool's system lacks width, and players who can take on defenders in one vs one situations. There's only one profile in the squad who fits that criteria.
It's Ngumoha. He's one of the very best wingers of his generation as manipulating space and taking defenders on.
With every moment he spends on the pitch, he proves how special he really is. That he is indeed a Yamal level of talent. He's ready to announce himself. Ready to make the same impact.
Slot just needs to unleash him.
