Liverpool have officially signed Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth. Here's what they plan to do next.

Liverpool made us all wait but Milos Kerkez has now been confirmed as a Red. He's the club's new left-back, set to compete for the first-choice role against maybe Andy Robertson.

That one largely depends on whether the Scot is still around. Robertson has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, after all, as he enters the final year of his Liverpool contract.

But while that's an uncertainty, Kerkez moving to Anfield isn't. That's now sealed and delivered, making him the fourth arrival of the summer transfer window.

Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Pecsi have also joined the club. Wirtz is the standout there, breaking Liverpool's transfer record with his move from Bayer Leverkusen.

It's a lot of money spent, too, but Liverpool have it. The Reds were in an incredible amount of space with Premier League PSR, allowing them to spend without really selling.

And so that's the focus now. Liverpool are hoping to bring in quite a lot of money for several stars, with the likes of Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, and Harvey Elliott all heavily linked with new clubs.

Their sales would bring in over £100m, if all went to plan. Well over it, in fact.

And that's money that we do believe would be reinvested into the first-team squad. Liverpool want to capitalise on their Premier League win and early success under Arne Slot by building a team the head coach can properly use.
