London City Lionesses midfielder Marashi joins LSK Kvinner on loan | OneFootball

London City Lionesses midfielder Gesa Marashi has joined Norwegian Toppserien club LSK Kvinner on loan for the remainder of the season.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Pride this evening.

The 19-year-old joined London City Lionesses from Arsenal’s Professional Game Academy in summer 2024 and she went on to win Barclays WSL2 with the club last season.

Marashi is seen as one for the future at London City Lionesses and her game time has been limited this season. The player’s only outings have come in the Subway Women’s League Cup. Marashi needs regular minutes to develop and she will hope to get that in her time with LSK Kvinner.

The youngster joins LSK Kvinner just days before the start of the new Toppserien season. The Lillestrøm-based club kick-off the new campaign with a home fixture against Røa IL this weekend. LSK Kvinner finished the 2025 Toppserien season in fourth place, missing out on European qualification by 18 points.

London City Lionesses will contest their final five games of the season without Marashi. The Pride are currently in seventh position, just one point off sixth-placed Everton. A top half of the table finish is a real possibility.
