Lorent Tolaj matches Salah as 2025s most productive player

After bagging two goals and setting up another in Port Vale’s 5–0 thrashing of Bromley on Saturday, Lorent Tolaj has climbed to the top of the productivity charts across the top four tiers in 2025.

That’s right — no player in 'The 92' has contributed to more goals this calendar year than Vale's forward. His tally now stands at 15 goal involvements in 2025 (11 goals, 4 assists), putting him level with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah (10 goals, 5 assists).

In League Two this season, Tolaj has racked up 13 goals and 8 assists — 21 goal involvements in total — playing a huge part in Port Vale’s promotion push.
