Grêmio coach Luís Castro said Wagner Leonardo will stay after the 1-0 win over Novo Hamburgo on Saturday, which sealed a Campeonato Gaúcho semi-final place.

According to Globo.com, the defender has attracted interest from CSKA in Russia, a Brazilian club and a Saudi team. No official bid has arrived, and Grêmio would consider talks only from seven million euros.

Asked about a possible exit, Castro was unequivocal. He said the squad has three right-sided and three left-sided centre-backs, and selection depends on who is in the best physical and mental condition.

He outlined a rotation based on recovery between matches and daily reports from his staff.
