According to O Jogo, Luis Suárez, the Sporting forward, has been given a one-match suspension for a stealing gesture during the clássico with FC Porto, the first leg of the Taça de Portugal semi-finals.
The incident occurred as Sporting appealed for a second yellow card for Alberto Costa after a foul on Geny Catamo.

In the immediate aftermath, André Villas-Boas criticised the gesture.
He said he would lodge a complaint over the incident.
That move has now produced a result.
