Lyon turn to youth at Nantes with Arsenal on the horizon

With Saturday’s showdown against Arsenal looming at Groupama Stadium, Lyon have rested almost all of their senior players and turned to youth for Wednesday’s league trip to Nantes at 19:00. According to Le Progres, Jonatan Giráldez has named a 17-strong squad for the Arkema Première Ligue fixture.
The travelling party includes 10 players from the reserve and U19 sides. Regulars in the senior group Romane Rafalski and Maïssa Fathallah are joined by Charline Coutel and Camille Marmillot, both 17, who featured against Dijon, plus Jade Derigent.
There is still experience in every line, with Christiane Endler in goal, Alice Sombath and Tarciane in defence, Damaris Egurrola in midfield, and Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Vicki Becho in attack.
The game at Nantes is the rescheduled matchday 21 fixture in the Arkema Première Ligue.
Squad: Belhadj, Endler - Derigent, Moreau Tranchant, Olivier, Rafalski, Rougeron, Sombath, Tarciane - Chicha Douvier, Coutel, Damaris, Fathallah - Becho, Figueira, Katoto, Marmillot.
