Manchester City have beaten Arsenal to the signing of Leicester City teenager Jeremy Monga.
Enzo Maresca’s side have agreed a package worth £10m for Monga, who is set to sign a long-term deal at the Etihad.
Arsenal had been in negotiations with Leicester for Monga, who in 2025 became the second-youngest Premier League debutant of all time, at 15 years and 271 days.
Last season, the 16-year-old made 30 senior appearances as Leicester were relegated from the Championship.
According to The Athletic, former Leicester City manager Maresca has convinced Monga that his future is in Manchester, with the Cityzens prepared to meet the League One side’s valuation. Arsenal are understood to have been prepared to pay around £6.5m for the winger.
