Man City confirm Marc Guehi signing | OneFootball

Manchester City have completed the signing of England defender Marc Guéhi from Crystal Palace.

The 25-year-old has signed a contract running until 2031 after City agreed an initial £20 million fee with Palace.

The England international becomes Pep Guardiola’s second signing of the January window, following the arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth earlier this month.

Guéhi was entering the final months of his contract at Selhurst Park and had attracted strong interest from several top clubs across Europe. Liverpool were close to landing him last summer, but City moved decisively this month to beat their rivals to his signature.

A product of Chelsea’s academy, Guéhi joined Palace in 2021 and quickly established himself as a key figure, eventually captaining the club during a historic period. He played a central role in Palace’s FA Cup triumph and Community Shield success, making 188 appearances in all competitions during his time in south London.
