Maghnes Akliouche has quickly become one of the most sought-after players as the summer transfer window nears its end. The Frenchman draws strong interest from PSG and Manchester City after a standout season with AS Monaco in 2024-25.
The 23-year-old has established himself as one of Ligue 1’s brightest young talents, though a move away from Monaco may not happen immediately.
In May, 90min France reported that Manchester City and PSG had stepped up their pursuit, with Monaco reportedly valuing the midfielder at around €70 million. Pep Guardiola admires Akliouche’s left-footed creativity and versatility, seeing him as a potential long-term successor to Bernardo Silva.
More recently, The Independent reported that Tottenham see Akliouche as a more affordable alternative to Savinho, with Manchester City reportedly placing a £70 million price tag on the 21-year-old, while Monaco value their attacking midfielder at £47.5 million.

Recently, Akliouche spoke with the French media and he was asked about his future as the summer saw his name in the transfer rumor mill.
“We know that in football anything can happen and things move very quickly, but I feel good here at Monaco,” Akliouche said (h/t Le10Sport). “… As for the transfer window, we’ll see. You never know until the very end. You can’t know everything. There are still three days left (…) You never have any certainty anywhere. Here at Monaco, I know my surroundings. I would be happy to stay here.”
According to a previous report from L’Équipe, Manchester United are also a name linked to the Frenchman. Nonetheless, it appears as though several Premier League clubs are keen on the Monaco standout. Despite the interest, it will take a significant sum.
Monaco reportedly ask between €70 million and €80 million for the midfielder, a high price that hasn’t deterred any of the clubs tracking him, making a summer transfer seem more likely.
