City facing near-impossible European task at the Etihad Stadium
Manchester City are looking to overcome a three-goal deficit when they face Real Madrid on Tuesday.
Pep Guardiola’s men fell to a heavy 3-0 defeat in their Champions League last 16 first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu last week.
Federico Valverde scored a hat-trick as Los Blancos ran riot in a one-sided first half in the Spanish capital.
City suffered no injury blows in their trip to Spain or their 1-1 draw at West Ham over the weekend, with just two absentees to note for their second leg.
Josko Gvardiol is out with a broken leg, while Rico Lewis continues to recover from a twisted ankle.
Elsewhere, City are at full strength.
Gianluigi Donnarumma will start in goal, while there is a discussion to be had at right-back.
Abdukodir Khusanov played there to face up Vinicius Junior in the first leg, but he was shifted to centre-back at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Matheus Nunes has made the position his own this term and could come in there.
In central defence, Ruben Dias was rested in east London, but he will likely return here alongside Marc Guehi, while Nico O’Reilly should fill in at left-back after playing in central midfield against the Irons.
In midfield, Bernardo Silva was alongside Rodri at the Bernabeu and is likely to reprise that role, while Antoine Semenyo has been handed more of a free central role off lone striker Erling Haaland in recent weeks.
Should he continue there, that could mean Jeremy Doku returns off the left and Rayan Cherki plays on the right, although he could switch with Semenyo.
Predicted Man City XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Khusanov, Dias, Guehi, O’Reilly; Silva, Rodri; Semenyo, Cherki, Doku; Haaland
Injured: Gvardiol, Lewis
Doubt: Kovacic
