Manchester United are keeping an eye on Leicester City gem Jeremy Monga, per Chris Wheeler. He is one of the young players they want to bring to Old Trafford.

Monga has caught the eye of clubs like Man United with his mazy dribbling and talent. He has been linked with a move away, and clubs could pounce this summer.

With his side relegated to League One, they may be more inclined to sell if the Red Devils or any party make an offer for Monga.

The 16-year-old has scored once and registered two assists in 27 Championship appearances (eight starts).

He can play on either wing and has been lauded for excellent application.

Monga’s tricky footwork, intelligence and an elite technical package have alerted teams.

Manchester United will have to move quickly to snap him up, with Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Leeds United credited with interest in his services.

Manchester United reportedly plan to roll with Matheus Cunha and Patrick Dorgu, a natural full-back or wing-back, as the left wing options for next season.

And that is exactly why Jeremy Monga feels like such an intriguing target.

Unlike Dorgu, Monga is a genuine attacking wide player. His first instinct is to isolate defenders, attack space and create chaos in one-versus-one situations.

Dorgu may offer energy, athleticism and tactical flexibility, but deploying him on the left wing would still feel like a compromise.

Monga, meanwhile, looks tailor-made for the role to be a back-up to Cunha.

If United truly want to restore unpredictability in wide positions, Monga appears to be a far more natural long-term solution than converting Dorgu into something he is not.

Elsewhere, Man United are also chasing highly-rated Hertha Berlin defensive midfielder, Kennet Eichhorn.

The 16-year-old German prospect is on the radar of most of Europe’s top clubs and would be a coup if the Red Devils can land his signature.
