Premier League outfit Manchester United are giving consideration to launching a historic big-money move for Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr.

This comes amid claims of a €200 million offer being readied by the Old Trafford brass.

Wide-man Vinícius is of course in the midst of something of a tumultuous campaign to date in 2025/26.

Whilst showcasing flashes of his undoubted brilliance on occasion, the Brazilian has struggled for consistency, frequently overshadowed by attacking partner Kylian Mbappé.

On top of this, Viní has repeatedly made clear his bemusement with new boss Xabi Alonso’s decisions to haul him off prematurely.

Such unrest has given rise to suggestions that, for the right price, Real Madrid could be open to a sale next summer.

And ready to pull the trigger in the case of as much being confirmed, as alluded to above, are Manchester United.

As per a report from Fichajes:

‘Internal reports from Manchester United indicate that Vinícius Jr. is their top priority for the upcoming transfer window.’

Convinced that the 25-year-old’s signing would mark a significant step back towards the summit of English football, the Red Devils are in turn willing to fork over around €200 million to bring Vinícius to Old Trafford.
