Manchester United Women are set for a busy 2026 fixture schedule.
United have so far enjoyed a successful European adventure, winning four of their six Champions League matches.
Consequently, they will face Atletico Madrid in the round of 16 in February.
They currently sit fourth in the league, but are just three points behind second-placed Chelsea at the halfway stage of the season.
Head coach Marc Skinner’s side also have FA Cup commitments against Burnley on 18 January.
They have also reached the semi-final of the League Cup after beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in the final match before the winter break.
The Red Devils learned shortly after their victory over Tottenham Hotspur that they would once again be taking on a North London side, this time facing Arsenal.
The Gunners are currently third and have only one more point than United this season, so it promises to be a tightly contested affair.
The club’s official website has also provided further information on the exciting clash.
It reports, “the details for the Subway Women’s League Cup semi-finals have been announced. The Reds will face Arsenal on Wednesday 21 January, with kick-off at 19:00 GMT.”
The semi-final is set to be staged at Meadow Park, which is the home of Boreham Wood. Television broadcast details are yet to be confirmed.
The other semi-final will see the top two teams in the league, Manchester City and Chelsea, collide on the same date at the same time at the Joie Stadium.
United Women have never won the League Cup and will be hoping this is finally their year.
