PSG star Achraf Hakimi left the pitch on November 4 against Bayern Munich after a heavy challenge from Luis Díaz, unable to put any weight on his left foot.
The club later confirmed he will miss several weeks, though they stopped short of giving a specific return date. With the winter window approaching and the Morocco international sidelined, PSG could start to feel the impact of not securing extra cover at right-back earlier.
Recently, Julian Capera of ESPN Colombia has also mentioned that PSG are monitoring Daniel Muñoz. Moreover, Mundo Deportivo has reported that Barcelona view Muñoz as a possible target at around €30 million.
Any move would hinge on Muñoz’s position, Crystal Palace’s openness to talks, and whether the clubs involved can put forward a compelling offer. Nonetheless, there could be one less interested club in for the Colombian standout ahead of the winter transfer window.

Football Insider reports, citing sources, that Manchester United are unlikely to make a move for Muñoz in the January transfer window. Furthermore, the report states that the Red Devils will focus their efforts on striker and midfielder targets in the January window, suggesting that Muñoz is unlikely to be on their radar.
Amid speculation about a possible departure from Crystal Palace, Football Insider’s Mick Brown believes the Colombian is trying to create interest in the transfer market following his recent remarks about his future.
“Muñoz has opened the door to a move away from Palace,” Brown said. “He’s got a very good reputation, he’s very highly rated for what he’s done with Palace because he’s been an important part of the success they’ve had recently.
“I’ve never heard his name mentioned in connection with Man United, but he’s now thrown that one out there, so people will take notice. He’s done a cracking job for Palace since he arrived there, but if he’s now looking to move on to one of these clubs he’s speaking about, it could put pressure on them.
“I don’t think Man United have been prioritising a move for a right-back, but things can change. Because he’s made this public declaration, I expect it’s something they will look into, to see what it might take to get him out of Palace.
“But before this, it’s not something I’ve heard mentioned, and he’s not somebody they’ve been looking at. So watch this space with this one, because he’s thrown this out there and the club would be silly if they didn’t at least have a look into it.”
